It is well-known fact that if you don’t use some muscles for quite a time they will weaken.
A good example of this would be a leg injury, such as a broken bone (fibula). In this case, you are supposed to relax and use the wheelchair in order to let the bone heal.
As you muscles are not active in the meantime, they will simply weaken. The same thing is applied to the muscles that surround your eye lens.
Many people are wearing glasses nowadays. However, if the wearing of glasses is not accompanied with some exercises for the eyes, the vision will eventually weaken. The eye muscles require exercise as every other muscle.
Following these guidelines will help you rebuild and improve your vision:
- Consume carrot juice with a few drops of olive oil regularly
- Avoid PC or lap top for at least 2 hours before bedtime
- Do some gymnastics for the eyes, consisting of the following 16 exercises. You need to follow the lines with your eyes.
- Avoid hard pressure on your eyes and it is recommended to close your eyes for several minutes on every 2-3 hours
- Get rid of your glasses
- Wash your eyes with lukewarm water
- Apply light pressure on your eyeball with the tips of your index and middle finger.
Press the eyeball lightly so you don’t feel any pain. Then press these pints with your index finger twice. - Implement everyday massage on the specific points ( PICTURE)
- It is necessary to look into distance while walking outside.
- Put into practice the Indian exercise “Trataka”
The activity Trataka is a directed, centered look (type of reflection) which coordinates the fixation as a specific point, such as dark spot, small object, and flame light. This activity is done in order to create focus, reinforcing the visual perception and bracing the third eye.
In the beginning, you should focus on some item or an image and gaze at it for a while. Keep in mind that the final goal is to have your brain focused on the image with clear thoughts.
In the moment when tears start to flow from your eyes, give your eyes a rest and shut them down. The whole point of the activity is to endure as much as you can before the tears flow from your eyes.
