Say goodbay to the annoying fungal nail infection with help of baking soda and apple cider vinegar.
The fungus of feet and nails is usually result of moisture, mold or bacteria, and it can be painful and unpleasant.
The first stages of fungal infections are usually the white or yellow spots on the top of the nail. This spots over the time might change the color and shape and the nail can get really painful and unpleasant. The fungus can not be cured without appropriate treatment. What probably most of you do not know is that sodium bicarbonate is one of the most effective drugs for treatment of fungi.
The mixture of sodium bicarbonate and vinegar is good because the sodium is not fungicide, which means that it will not kill the fungus but it will prevent it from spreading and growing, while the vinegar is used to kill the fungus.
You will need the following ingredients:
- 4-5 spoons sodium bicarbonate
- 1 glass apple cider vinegar
- Water
- Bowl in which you will soak you feet
- Paper towel
Mix one glass vinegar in the bowel filled with water. Soak you feet in it for about 15 minutes and after that dry your feet well with a paper towel. Repeat the procedure once again but this time add 4-5 spoons baking soda to the water.
Do this several times per day, soak your feet two times without baking soda and two times with it. The reason why you should do it in this particular way is to allow first the vinegar to destroy the fungus and after that the baking soda to prevent its spread and growth.
