Elixir And A Super Cure From The 15th Centry – Swedish Bitters

Have you heard of Swedish bitters? The term does not refer to a specific tree or plant, but it is a name of a traditional herbal elixir that was formulated by the Swiss National physician Paracelsus in the 15th century and rediscovered and improved by the famous Swedish physician Dr. Klaus Samst in the 18th century. Unlike many other similar ancient remedies, Swedish bitters is being applied everywhere in the world and can even be bought in the most modern pharmacy. It is interesting to point out that Dr Samst lived 104 years and his handwritings and recipe of the elixir were found after his death. Here we will introduce you to the original recipe of the Swedish bitters and the necessary ingredients.

Swedish bitters consists of several very curative plants and it can be applied for several problems: dizziness, stomach cramps, toothache, constipation, pain in the ears, problems with the uterus, hemorrhoids, tuberculosis, fever, wounds, scars on the body , appetite, anemia, rheumatic pains, trembling hands and feet, various infections, kidney problems, liver, gall bladder, etc… It’s really hard to enumerate all the applications for the Swedish bitters.

The only problem in preparing the elixir that may arise is if you are not able to find all of the ingredients, but you can try most pharmacies or specialized shops for herbs and supplements. If you decide to make the Swedish bitter, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 10 gm. Aloe
  • 5gm. Myrrh
  • 0.2gm. Saffron
  • 10 gm. Senna leaves
  • 10 gm. Camphor
  • 10 gm. Angelica roots
  • 10 gm Zedvoary roots
  • 10 gm. Manna
  • 10 gm. Theriac venezian
  • 5 gm. Carline Thistle roots
  • 10 gm Rhubarb roots

Put the ingredients in a two-liter glass jar and pour 1.5 liters of alcohol (35 – 40%). The bottle is left standing in the sun or near the stove for 14 days and shaken daily. The liquid is then strained and poured into small bottles, well closed and stored in a cool place. This way it can be left in the bottle until needed. The longer it stands in the bottle, the more effective it becomes.

Internal usage
For disease prevention, take a teaspoon of diluted drops in the morning and in the evening. For various diseases take three diluted teaspoons. For malignant diseases take two to three teaspoons a day in the following manner: one spoon of diluted drops in 1.8 liters of herbal tea, divided into two parts, and taken half an hour before each meal and half an hour after a meal.

Compresses
Compresses are used for various swellings. Take a piece of cotton or cloth and soak it in Swedish bitters and put it on the affected area which you have previously greased with some fat. Put a plastic foil over it. Then wrap it with a bandage. Leave the compress for two to four hours, depending on the disease. If the patient does not mind, feel free to leave the compress overnight.

We recommend that you look for the ingredients and make the Swedish bitters or ask a pharmacy if they sell the elixir.
