A research team, lead by Dr. Damian Marino from the University of La Plata in Argentina made a survey in which they tasted the tampons that woman use. They came out with shocking claims after it. According to them 85% of the tested tampons were positive for glyphosate. At the same time even 62% of them were tested positive for AMPA. All this and more were was announced at the Third National Congress of Peoples.
There is a little problem because Dr. Marino hasn’t published the data and they are not available for everyone. According to some rules when researchers make claims like these they need to release their data and to verify the methodology that they used. All this is because they need to be cross examined. According to this there is a concerning amount of glyphosate on feminine hygiene products. This is all that we can say now, but we hope that in the future Dr. Mariano will release the findings and if that happens we will revisit this subject.
